Narnia Maldives is a hotel nestled 400 metres from the sea in the heart of Maafushi Island which is just 27kms from Malé International Airport and 1km away from the famous Sand bar. The island forms part of the South Malé Atoll which is home to many of the Maldives resorts.

The 3 Star Hotel has 9 rooms, all of which have balconies affording views of the beautiful gardens. The rooms feature elegant décor and the en suite bathrooms have fitted hairdryers. For the guest’s added ease and comfort, the rooms also have ceiling fans, mini bars, flat screen TVs and walk-in closets. Guests can also enjoy 24 hour room service, laundry and concierge services.

Apart from the hotel’s restaurant that can provide a varied selection of western style cuisines as well as Maldivian Sri Lankan meals, for the convenience of the guests there is also the 24 hour Narnia Cafe which can serve hot beverages and snacks throughout the day and night.

When people think of the Maldives, most will immediately think of blue seas, beautiful beaches and relaxation and this hotel can provide all of that. The sea and the beaches are just yards away and relaxation can be found on one of the sunbeds under the palm trees in the yard, listening to the sound of the fountain whilst enjoying the cool breeze as it whispers through the flowering plants.

Although everybody wants to enjoy some relaxation on their vacation, most will also want to experience all that the clear blue waters that surround the Maldives can offer in the way of excitement, wonder and adventure. For that reason the hotel can arrange a wide variety of activities for its guests and some of these include day visits to some of the larger nearby resorts, a tour by seaplane to allow photography of the pristine islands and clear blue lagoons or even an island hopping adventure by either private speedboat or government run ferry. Many of the delights that the Maldives has to offer can be experienced nearer to the hotel though with organized fishing trips either during the day or at night. Snorkelling is of course a great way to experience the colourful sea life that the islands and reefs are home to and is an excellent way to introduce the kids to underwater activities like scuba diving. Both snorkelling and scuba diving can be arranged by the hotel which can also provide what is needed for a variety of other water sports including kite surfing and catamaran sailing. The hotel also offers its Narnia Maldives’s Dolphin Safari which enables you to get close to and even swim with some of the many dolphins that live in the waters around the islands.

The hotel can also arrange for a picnic or BBQ on Picnic Island. This island is completely un-inhabited and only possesses benches, showers and toilets for visiting guests, plus of course soft sandy beaches and clear blue waters.
